Bloom Curriculum is developed from our pedagogy of thematic and integrated, for Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2 children. We aspire for children to bloom through our strong curriculum and by building up their essential skills. They will blossom amidst interactive learning and play, self-discovery and enjoyable experiences. The abundance of opportunities will groom the children to be socially responsible and caring individuals.
Kidz@Nature consists of Nature Magnified and other engaging activities that focus on current environmental issues. Children are introduced to 3Rs and Saving Gaia initiatives. With these efforts, they will be nurtured to be socially responsible and environmentally conscious individuals.
Positive values are nurtured through termly Disposition Days such as ‘Save the Ocean’ and ‘Care for Grandparents’, which promote inclusivity and love for the environment, the differently abled people and the elders.
To extend children’s learning, we collaborate with organisations and government agencies such as Singapore Red Cross. Kidz Meadow was recognised as Friends of Red Cross Youth (Junior) in 2021 for participating in Red Cross Junior Programme and for our collaborative effort in launching Project C.A.R.E Educator Guide, curated for Red Cross Juniors at preschools in Singapore in 2018. Events and activities organised through these partnerships provide an enriching experience for the children.
In 2021, Kidz Meadow adopted Olaf, a rare and precious blue-eyed cockatoo from Jurong Bird Park, as part of our efforts in conserving endangered species.
Children will gain a deeper appreciation for various cultures on Culture Appreciation Weeks, and Mother Tongue Language (Mandarin/Malay) through lessons interwoven with stories, rhymes and creative arts. They will also dive into Chinese and Malay heritage through activities in Warisan Budaya and Wenhua Yichan.
Children will develop astuteness and bouts of curiosity through experiential activities such as D.E.E.P Project (a bi-annual integrated project work), Fun Cookery, Creative Art, Exploration and Investigation in Science, Learning Journeys and Superkinder Camps.
Singing and dancing build up self-esteem, confidence and promote children's creative expressions. We encourage creative play for the children to express their imagination through playing dress-up and role playing, and experimenting with materials found in the integrated learning centres.
Children will learn numeracy concepts through songs, rhymes and games. Concrete objects and everyday materials are used to aid their understanding.
We offer an integrated literacy-based foundation that develops skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English language conventions. Children will be engaged in activities such as Read Aloud, Creative Writing, Language Experiential Approach, Show & Tell and Picture Talks.
